The Turkish Riviera is situated between Antalya (West) and Alanya (East) on the mediterranean Sea.

Antalya boasts an international airport with frequent flights to Holland and several locations in Europe.

Alanya is a city in the district of Antalya located 135 kms east of Antalya, and is a world famous beach resort. It is partly built on the slope of an imposing rock between two beaches, the Cleopatra beach and the East beach. Also known as the “Pearl of the Turkish Rivera” for its kilometers of fine and clean sandy beaches, crystal clear water and of course most important, the mild mediterarrean climate. The long beaches are open to the public. By comparison with other regions Alanya has special characteristics not only having around 310 – 320 sunny days per year but also making it possible to bath in the sea for over 8 months of the year!!!
   

The Turkish Riviera offers various sights of nature, it has many natural sea and land caves, wildlife parks, valley and rivers that are well worth visiting. Also not to be missed is the array of fruit plantations with various exotic fruit varieties such as citrus fruits, figs etc.
 

Alanya has a historical past, the original settlers- a nomadic tribe- settled down in Alanya through the tourism. The Red tower is built on a peninsula and dominates the city with its kilometres long walls and 150 towers. In the last 15 years however the population structure of Alanya has changed into multi-cultural city with many Europeans.

Due to these changes various facilities such as a good infra-structure, healthcare, modern hotels, buildings and stores were built. Also the first holiday apartments were built and sold to European tourists.

The city now has a population of approx. 50,000 and is a beautiful resort town with modern facilities such as hotels, restaurants, cafes mostly located along the pristine beaches. It also boasts a colourful bazaar where you can experience the Turkish atmosphere.
